Everyone at Dorset Hall and Dorset Hall Nursery Parkside recognises the importance of creativity, individuality, responsibility and a sense of community.
We foster a love of learning through exploration, fun and challenge in a safe place where all children are welcomed and valued and supported to achieve their best from their unique starting point.

Dorset Hall Nursery
Our Nursery (located on Dorset Road), just off West Green Road, was opened in 2016 and is a lovely, bright home away from home environment for children from the ages of twelve months to five years.
Dorset Hall Parkside
Located in a large red brick Grade 2 listed building containing many original and interesting features, very close to the entrance of Downhills Park, Dorset Hall Parkside was opened in October 2019.

Our nursery group comprises of two buildings with dedicated play rooms packed full of fun and stimulating activities for each age group.
Goals for Our Children
Early Years Foundation Stage
At Dorset Hall Nursery we help our children achieve their full potential by working in partnership with parents and carers. We aim to foster a growing sense of confidence, curiosity, independence, and individuality.
We value the input that parents and carers provide at nursery during their child’s early years journey. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum which lays the foundation for a child’s learning journey from birth to 5 years old.
